What are the types of roles available?

Understand FreJun’s default and custom user roles to control access, permissions, and team responsibilities efficiently.

FreJun provides a structured role-based access system that helps organizations manage users, permissions, and responsibilities securely. Each role is designed to match real-world team functions—ensuring that sensitive settings remain protected while agents and supervisors get the exact tools they need to perform their jobs.

With predefined default roles and the option to create custom roles, businesses can tailor access to calling, SMS, analytics, contacts, and system configurations. This flexibility improves operational security, prevents misuse, and streamlines collaboration across sales, recruitment, and support teams.

Available Roles in FreJun

There are two types of roles:

 1. Default Roles – Predefined by FreJun and cannot be deleted. They are:
  • Owner
Full access to all features and settings.
Can manage users, assign roles, configure system settings, view analytics, and handle billing.
Ideal for IT managers, team leads, or anyone responsible for overall platform administration.
  • Admin
Can view team performance, manage team members, and access most features.
Limited access to billing and some high-level settings.
Suitable for team supervisors or department heads.
  • Agent
Access to core features like calls, SMS, contacts, and personal analytics. Cannot modify system-wide settings or view other users' data unless shared. Best for individual contributors such as sales reps or support agents.

2. Custom Roles (if enabled) -

        1. Created by the user/admin to define tailored access and permissions.

        2. You can filter roles by these types using the "Type" filter.
