Users: How to Add a User
This feature is available exclusively to owners and admins. Owners and admins can invite users to FreJun by specifying essential details such as email, license, role, and add-ons.
Steps to Add a New User:
- Navigate to Users & Teams:
- Go to the Users & Teams section.
- Click on Add User:
- Click on Invite User. This option will only be available if the owner has enough licenses to add new users. If there are not enough licenses, the "Invite User" button will be disabled.
- Fill in the User's Details:
- Email: Enter the user’s email address.
- Plan License: Select the appropriate license for the user.
- Role: Choose the user's role (Agent, Admin, or Custom Role).
- Virtual Number: Assign a virtual number if needed.
- Add-ons: Choose any add-ons (such as Browser Calling, AutoDial) for the user.
- Send Invitation:
- After entering the required details, click Invite to send an invitation to the user.
- The user will receive an email with an invite code that is valid for 24 hours. If the code expires, you will need to resend it.
- User Acceptance:
- The user will receive an email with a 6-character code and a link.
- By clicking the link, the user will be redirected to the FreJun invite page, where they will fill in their details and create a password.
- Once the password is set, the user’s account becomes active, and they can start making calls and using FreJun.
Teams: How to Create and Manage Teams
The Teams feature allows owners and admins to organize users into specific teams. This is helpful for routing incoming calls, monitoring team performance, and filtering call data based on the team’s activity.
Steps to Create a Team:
- Navigate to Users & Teams:
- Go to the Users & Teams section.
- Click on Teams:
- Select Teams from the menu.
- Click on Create Team:
- Click on Create Team to start adding team members.
- Add Team Details:
- Enter a valid team name.
- Select the users you want to assign to the team. You can select multiple users and remove them as needed.
- Save the Team:
- After adding the desired users, click Save to create the team.
Managing Teams:
- Edit Team: You can modify the team name and add or remove users as needed.
- Delete Team: You can delete a team, but the users within the team will remain unaffected.
Teams can also be used to route incoming calls and filter calls based on the number of calls made by the team.
Roles: Managing User Roles
The Roles feature allows you to define and manage access permissions for users. FreJun provides default roles (Owner, Admin, Agent) as well as the ability to create custom roles.
Default Roles:
- Owner:
- Full system access.
- Can manage billing, subscriptions, and users.
- Cannot be modified or deleted.
- Admin:
- Full system control.
- Can manage users and teams.
- Cannot modify billing or subscription settings.
- Cannot be modified or deleted.
- Agent:
- Basic access to system features.
- Limited to viewing their own data and performing call-related tasks.
- Cannot be modified or deleted.
Custom Roles:
Custom roles allow you to create specialized access levels for users. These roles are fully configurable and can be assigned specific permissions based on your organization's needs.
- Editable Role Descriptions: You can edit the name and description of the role.
- Configurable Permissions: Set specific permissions for each feature.
- Customizable Scope: Define which data the role can access.
- User Assignment: Assign multiple users to a custom role.
How to Create a Custom Role:
- Navigate to Users & Teams:
- Go to the Users & Teams section, and select the Roles tab.
- Click on Create Role:
- Click on Create Role to start creating a custom role.
- Role Configuration:
- Tab 1: Description (Optional):
- Enter a role name and a short description.
- Tab 2: Permissions:
- Set specific permissions for each feature the role will have access to.
- Tab 3: Scope:
- Choose the data the role will have access to (e.g., all users or specific teams).
- Tab 4: Users:
- Assign users to the role.

Editing and Deleting Roles:
- Default Roles (Owner, Admin, Agent) cannot be edited, deleted, or modified in any way. These roles are preset in the system.
- Custom Roles can be modified, including:
- Changing the role name.
- Editing the role description.
- Adjusting permissions and scope.
- Removing or adding users to the role.
Deleting Custom Roles:
- Custom Roles can be deleted at any time.
- Default Roles (Owner, Admin, Agent) cannot be deleted.
- When a custom role is deleted, the users assigned to that role are automatically reassigned to the Agent role.
Default Role Scope:
- Owner & Admin: Have access to all users and teams within the system.
- Agent: Can only access their own data.
