Deleting Roles in FreJun

Only custom roles can be deleted in FreJun. These are roles that have been created by users or administrators within your organization to meet specific access or permission requirements.

Default roles, on the other hand, are system-defined and come pre-configured with every FreJun account. These include roles like Admin, Manager, or User, which are essential for the platform’s core functionality and role-based access control. As such, they cannot be deleted or modified at the structural level (e.g., role name or core permissions).

To delete a custom role:

  1. Hover over the role.

  2. Click the three-dot icon (⋮) on the right.

  3. Select "Delete Role" from the dropdown.

Be cautious — once a custom role is deleted, any users assigned to it will lose their permissions and may revert to default access levels unless reassigned.
