What permissions does the extension require?

To deliver a seamless calling experience and integrate effectively with your CRM tools, the FreJun Chrome Extension requests the following permissions:


🎙️ Microphone Access

Purpose: To enable voice communication during calls made through the extension.

  • The extension requires access to your device’s microphone so you can speak during browser-based calls.

  • Without this permission, you won’t be able to conduct voice conversations through the FreJun dialer.


📑 Tab Access

Purpose: To integrate with your browser-based tools and CRM systems.

  • This permission allows FreJun to detect active tabs and match phone numbers on web pages or CRM platforms.

  • It enables features like click-to-call, auto-logging of calls, and contextual caller information directly within your CRM.


🔐 Why These Permissions Are Safe:

  • FreJun only uses the microphone when a call is initiated.

  • Tab access is used solely to improve productivity within tools like HubSpot, Zoho, and others—no data is stored or misused.

  • You maintain full control: permissions can be modified or revoked from the browser settings.
