However, mobile virtual numbers used for custom calling solutions, large sales teams, or advanced telephony setups do require proper documentation due to regulatory compliance in India. This article explains the exact paperwork needed, minimum purchase rules, pricing, and commitments so you can plan your setup without delays.

The documentation requirements vary based on the type of number:

  1. a) Standard Indian Virtual Numbers
  • No documentation required
  • Can be activated without additional identity verification
  1. b) Mobile Numbers (Customized Solutions)
  • 📄 Documentation required
  • Pricing: ₹850 per DID (exclusive of GST)

    Please note that mobile numbers are subject to higher costs and stricter allocation rules as prescribed by TRAI. Due to these regulatory requirements, the following conditions apply:
  • Minimum Commitment Period: 12 months
  • Minimum Purchase: 20 DIDs
  • Documentation: 5 Aadhaar Cards required for every 20 DIDs.

    The minimum commitment period means that customers are required to pay for at least 12 months of service. It does not imply that the numbers can be replaced after the 12-month period. If a customer chooses to discontinue the service, they are still obligated to fulfill the minimum payment commitment.
