Does FreJun support 160 and 140 series numbers for Telecalling?

A: Yes. FreJun supports both 160 and 140 series numbers through its telecom carrier partnerships. These number series are governed by telecom regulations and are available only to eligible organizations that meet the applicable onboarding and documentation requirements.

The requirements for each series are outlined below.

A. 160 Series – Service & Transactional Calls

The 160 Series is reserved for service and transactional calls made by regulated entities, including organizations in the BFSI sector and other eligible institutions.

Typical Documentation Required:
  • Principal Entity (PE) Certificate with Vodafone
  • Applicable regulatory license (e.g., RBI License for NBFCs/Banks)
Current Telecom Operator Requirements:
  • Security Deposit: ₹50,000 per account
  • Minimum Channel Requirement: 30 channels
  • Maximum Allocation: 100 channels per DID
Commitment Period – 1 Year


B. 140 Series – Promotional & Telemarketing Calls

The 140 Series is designated for telemarketing and promotional calls and requires valid DLT registration.

Typical Documentation Required:
  • Principal Entity (PE) Certificate with Vodafone
  • Telemarketer (TM) Certificate (DLT Registered)
Current Telecom Operator Requirements:
  • Security Deposit: ₹50,000 per account
  • Minimum Channel Requirement: 30 channels
  • Maximum: 100 Channels (1 DID allotted per 100 channels)
Commitment Period – 1 Year
