Answering Machine Detection (AMD) is a paid add-on that automatically classifies whether an outgoing call was answered by a human or reached a voicemail/answering machine. It's designed to help sales and support teams improve calling workflows and reporting by filtering out voicemail drops from live conversations.

Availability :-

  • Available only on Professional and Enterprise plans.
  • Not available on Standard plan.

How to enable AMD ?
  1. Go to the Virtual Number section.
  2. Select the relevant virtual number.
  3. Open the General tab.
  4. Enable Answering Machine Detection.



  5. Click on Save

AMD is configured per virtual number, not at the org level or individual user level. Each number must be enabled separately if AMD is needed across multiple numbers.
