# Is call recording supported via the extension?

## Learn how FreJun’s Chrome Extension automatically records calls, how settings work across platforms, and how to enable call recording while staying compliant.

Call recording is a critical feature for sales, recruitment, and support teams that rely on browser-based calling. With the **FreJun Chrome Extension**, users can seamlessly record calls made directly from their browser—ensuring no important conversation, client detail, or compliance requirement is missed.

If call recording is enabled at the account level, **all calls made via the Chrome Extension are automatically recorded**, just like calls placed from the FreJun web dashboard or mobile app. This centralized approach ensures consistent call logging, recording, and compliance across all FreJun calling platforms.

**Is Call Recording Supported via the FreJun Chrome Extension?**

Yes, if call recording is enabled in your account settings, then any call you make through the FreJun Chrome Extension will automatically be recorded.

Here’s how it works:

- Centralized Settings: Call recording settings are controlled at the account level. Once enabled, all outgoing and incoming calls—including those placed via the Chrome Extension—will follow the same recording rules.
- Consistent Across Platforms: Whether you're calling from the web dashboard, mobile app, or browser extension, the recording behavior remains consistent.
- Compliance & Transparency: If applicable, ensure that call recipients are informed about the recording to comply with privacy regulations.

> 🔧 To manage call recording settings:  
> Go to your Virtual Numbers section → Click on the number name → Under the General tab, scroll down to toggle the Record Calls option ON or OFF.

This makes it easy to keep track of important conversations directly through your browser.
