## Quickly remove contact ownership in FreJun to maintain clean data access, improve team privacy, and manage contact visibility with ease.

Managing contact ownership is crucial for maintaining data security and operational clarity in sales and support workflows. FreJun allows admins to easily unassign contacts from specific users when ownership changes, employees exit, or contact access needs to be restricted.

This guide explains how to unassign contacts from users in FreJun in just a few clicks. By following these steps, you can ensure contacts are no longer visible to unassigned users, helping teams stay compliant, organized, and focused on the right conversations.

#### **How to Unassign Contacts from Users in FreJun**

Follow the steps below to unassign one or multiple contacts from users in FreJun:

- Open the **Contact List**.
- Select the contacts you want to unassign.
- Click on the **Unassign** option.
- You’ll see a confirmation message like: *“Are you sure you want to unassign 10 contacts?”*
- Click **Unassign** to confirm.
  
  Once unassigned, users will no longer have access to those contacts in the list.
