# How to Remove or Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in FreJun

## Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an organization-wide security setting — when enabled, every user on your account receives a one-time password (OTP) at login. Disabling it affects all users, not just one. This guide covers two different situations, since they need different steps:

** Disabling 2FA as an Owner/Super-Admin**

This is a security-sensitive action available only to Owners/Superadmins. Disabling 2FA removes the OTP requirement for every user in your organization, not just yours.

1. Go to Settings \> Account \> Privacy & Security
2. Locate the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) toggle
3. Turn the toggle OFF
4. Confirm the change if prompted

Once disabled: users will no longer be asked for an OTP at login — they'll sign in with just their password. If you only wanted to make an exception for one user rather than disable it account-wide, note that this setting currently applies to the whole organization.

Not seeing this option, or don't have access? You're not an Owner/Superadmin on this account. Ask whoever holds that role to make the change, or see Section B if the issue is actually that you're locked out.
