Call recording is a critical feature for businesses using virtual numbers for sales, support, and recruitment. With FreJun, you get full control over whether calls are recorded—ensuring compliance with regulations, protecting customer privacy, and maintaining high-quality conversation insights.

This guide walks you through how to enable or disable call recordings for a specific virtual number in FreJun, step by step. Whether you need recordings for training and audits or want to disable them for compliance reasons, FreJun lets you manage call recording preferences effortlessly.

To enable or disable call recordings in FreJun, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your FreJun account.

  2. From the left-side menu, click on the "Virtual Numbers" tab.

  3. You will now see a list of all virtual numbers associated with your account.

  4. Click on the green-colored name of the virtual number for which you want to manage call recordings.

  5. This will open the details page for the selected virtual number.

  6. Under the "General" section, you will see details like the virtual number name and the number itself.

  7. Scroll slightly down to find a toggle button labelled "Record Calls"

    • If the toggle is enabled, all calls made from this virtual number will be recorded.

    • If the toggle is disabled, no calls from this virtual number will be recorded.

Make sure to save any changes made.
